The midi skirt: I love the look, (I have loved this look for a while) but this is the first time I've really tried it out. I own two midi skirts now, one is layers of white tulle similar to a ballerina's tutu and the other is this black leather one. But I'm beginning to wonder…is it really that easy to pull off? Though I love the look after trying the trend a few times, I am not sure if I am as convinced as I use to be. It's versatility with tops is endless, you can wear them with any blouse, sweater, crop top, tucked or untucked, and it will look great. I paired mine with this chunky white turtleneck and plaid blanket scarf. But my concern is more with the shoes. I feel that ankle boots just end up looking a bit too chunky on what would otherwise be a pair of dainty, feminine heels. My only solution would be a pair of boots that are tall enough to be worn under the midi skirt- very sexy, very 70s. But I think I would love most to wear it with flats- something I'm not sure 100% works. Thoughts? Do you like midi skirts? Have you tried wearing them? How do you wear them?
