My Favorite Green Smoothie

In the spirit of a new year beginning, I think it’s fair to say that a lot of us have probably vowed to make some healthier choices. One of the easiest (and most delicious) ways to get in some extra veggies is by way of a smoothie. I was skeptical at first - but I promise, you don’t taste any veggies in this smoothie. If I'd been blindfolded the first time I tried this smoothie, I never would have guessed that is was packed with kale, because all you can taste is banana and orange! Since I am not a big breakfast person, this is typically the first thing I have each day before lunch! I love starting the day knowing I’ve had a jump start on getting in my daily fruit and vegetables. Read on for the recipe!


Kale Smoothie

1/2 Cup Orange Juice

1 Cup Frozen Kale

1/2 Cup Frozen Mango

1 Banana

Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy!
